Car #94 combined the best of #92 and #93 into one spectacular
car. This vehicle featured a top-mounted mono-shock, a smaller
and lighter tetrahedral space frame and a two-piece Kevlar
seat. Other features included a new UTA-designed and programmed
fuel injection controller with an optimized intake design
and a turbocharged Honda engine. This car won numerous awards,
including Best Engineering Design, Best Use of Composites
and Highest Performance using M-85 fuel. Unfortunately, due
to the engine overheating in the last lap, #94 dropped from
1st to 8th place. Car #94 spent two years on display in the
Motor Sports Hall of Fame Museum (as seen in photo to the
left) in Novi , Michigan. #94 also has been on display at
the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, and at the A.E.
Pestche Automotive Museum.
